A Meta-Analysis for AI in the Sector of Healthcare
| Resumo: | The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare has the potential to revolutionize patient care, but its adoption is influenced by different factors. This study aimed to analyze different studies related to how individuals felt about the use of AI in the healthcare sector. A meta-analysis combined with a weight analysis was performed between 21 studies published between 2020 and 2024. This study revealed that the strongest constructs were between trust in AI on openness, understanding of AI on readiness to embrace AI and trust in AI on advantages. Practical implications of this research suggest that healthcare organizations should focus on building trust, enhancing understanding, and highlighting the advantages of AI to promote its adoption. Promoting better training and educational programs based on demographic variables such as age, working experience, and education can increase awareness and comfort with AI technologies among healthcare professionals. Healthcare organizations can use the insights from this study to develop effective strategies for promoting AI adoption within their specific contexts. Further research is recommended to explore additional factors influencing AI adoption in diverse healthcare settings. |
