Fintech in Africa: how digital payment tech is bringing financial services to the unbanked
| Resumo: | This work project explores the latest developments in the Fintech sector in Africa. It covers the newest investment and financing rounds across Fintech verticals, regions, and transaction types while uncovering investors’ and founders' rationales, opportunities, and challenges. The report specifically deep dives in to how payments have evolved given regional circumstances, trends, and drivers. The latter paved the road for financial inclusion in Africa by giving access to financial services to millions of unbanked Africans. It fur there lab or ate son the la test developments in the Lending and Banking Techs pace which will play a significant role in fostering an ecosystem of financial inclusion a cross the African continent in the future. |
