Resumo:The energy transition is a crucial challenge in tackling climate change. Bridgestone, a global leader in tyre manufacturing, has integrated sustainability into its business strategy, balancing environmental responsibility and profitability. This thesis analyses the company's energy transition initiatives, exploring how technological innovation, operational efficiency and a strong ESG reputation can create sustainable value. Through detailed analysis and teaching notes, it shows how the combination of renewable energy, careful resource management and stakeholder engagement can strengthen Bridgestone's leadership in the industry. The case demonstrates that sustainability and profit can coexist effectively.
