| Resumo: | This report has the aim to analyze the consequences of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal of the European Union to the EU citizen rights that live in the United Kingdom. The issue arise during an internship at Centro de Comunidades Madeirenses e Migrações. During the survey it was considered appropriate to analyze the documents issued by the British Government, the European Union and publications of experts in European Union and Public International Law to outline the scenario of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal of the European Union. In addition, the report analyzes the treatment that will be given to EU citizen rights living in the United Kingdom, as well as ways to provide meaningful protection against the loss of EU rights after Brexit. |
