El patrimonio cultural subacuático portugués
| Resumo: | El objetivo del artículo es hacer una síntesis sobre la investigación arqueológica subacuáticaen Portugal, cómo punto de partida al conocimiento de su patrimonio culturalsubacuático. Los hallazgos arqueológicos más significativos son presentados en el marco de las principales problemáticas que su estudio plantea sobre el Pasado, en el cuadro de la vida marítima de los portugueses a lo largo de los siglos, incluyendo sus conexiones con otros pueblos, tanto en territorio europeo, como en espacios ultramarinos. Abarcamos,en este sentido, una secuencia cronológica que va, desde la Edad del Hierro hastala navegación a vapor. The aim of the article is to make a synthesis on underwater archaeological research inPortugal, as a starting point to the knowledge of its underwater cultural heritage. The most significant archaeological finds are presented within the framework of key problematics that their study raises about the Past, having as background the Portuguese maritime life over the centuries, including their contacts to other peoples, both in European and overseas territories. In this sense, we cover a chronological sequence that goes from the Iron Age to the steam navigation. |
