O género de texto e os tipos de discurso

Resumo:This paper aims to analyze an episode of a literary text within the knowledge of text linguistics and sociodiscoursive interactionism (SDI). Manuel Teixeira-Gomes’ “Gente Singular” is read from the text linguistics and SDI’s notion of text genre and analyzed through SDI’ types of discourse. The analysis shows different sets of textual configurations: some configurations provide thematic appraisals of the environment, the characters or an organization of events based on diegesis and another type of configurations takes events back in loco.
