Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The present work project has, as objective, the exploration of artistic creation processes, more specifically in the pictorial field. As such, it is divided in two parts. The first part – Pintar Cometas (To Paint Comets) – aims to investigate the creative process of its author, that took place for two years, in this master’s course. Utilizing personal reports and pieces from a studio jornal, this part intends to deepen the understanding of processual questions through the analysis of happenstance, a sort of personal tale that leads to theoretical propositions. The second part – CADERNOS: A pintura e os dias (NOTEBOOKS: The painting and the days) – is composed by a series of thoughts, aphorisms, quotations, and records that emerge from the pictorial practice itself. Organized nonlinearly, these elements constitute an attempt of formal approximation between the artistic process and the theoretical endeavor that is essential in building a discourse around it. This project is better viewed in two-pages mode.
