Resumo:This project consists of exploring artistic synesthesia, focusing on the combination of creativity with human senses. It is a constant search to understand the connection between sensations and their significant role in the creation of art, specifically in drawing. Through an analysis of the works of artists who challenge synesthesia, theoretical studies, and perspectives of authors like Richard E. Cytowic and Cretien van Campen, who have studied the importance of senses in the moment of creation and how they can be a profound source of inspiration, along with experimentation and discovery in practical work, there is a quest for the synesthetic potential in an artistic context that showcases and exposes its strong presence in any artwork created by a sensitive being. In this manner, by investigating the sensory realm of artistic creation, the project aspires to analyze the link between senses and visual expression. Furthermore, it aims to delve into the complexity of synesthesia as a means to unlock profound creativity brimming with meanings and emotions applied in art.
