How process unification enhances agile development in startups

Resumo:This study investigates the application of principles of Business Process Standardization (BPS) and the impact it has on product quality and the development of processes framed within Agile development applied to Company X, a technology startup in the technology and transportation sector present in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Mexico, and the United States. Based on a qualitative analysis applied in a case study methodology with the assistance of MAXQDA, interviews were conducted with employees of the company in the technology sector. The results indicate a positive impact on product quality, reduction of complexity, and improvement in communication. However, the study also highlights the importance of flexibility as a relevant factor to meet the specific needs of the market.
