Resumo:This paper focuses on the presence of historical elements in the work of Juan Javier Salazar, a Peruvian visual artist who denounces bad social practices and false values. His artistic projects propose the socialization of art with originality and irony, in response to questions that history often left open. His works is composed by experimentation, cultural discourse and playful nature of the artistic expression
