Ergonomia no ambiente construído: desenvolvimento do projeto de abrigo para paragens de autocarro na cidade de Lisboa

Resumo:The study entitled "Ergonomics in the Built Environment: Development of Bus Stop Shelter Project in the City of Lisbon" aimed primarily to conceive an urban furniture that would serve as an exceptional shelter for its users, intending to enhance both comfort and waiting time at bus stops. To successfully realize this project, it was imperative to assimilate the fundamental principles of ergonomics, anthropometry, urban space planning, and transportation systems. Additionally, interviews and analysis of related studies were conducted, attempting to gain a deep understanding of the user behavior patterns, both in the specific context of Lisbon and from a more global perspective. These research methodologies have proven to be important in a way that contributed to a positive and more informed outcome. As a result, the development of the final project had as it is central purpose to provide a more integrative and accessible space for it is users, without overshadowing any other urban furniture or the public space itself. In summary, the research entitled "Ergonomics in the Built Environment: Development of Bus Stop Shelter Project in the City of Lisbon" represents a strategic and grounded approach in the field of urban design. Its primary objective of enhancing the user experience of public transportation at bus stops is substantiated by meticulous scientific analysis, along with methodologies that foster a comprehensive understanding of user needs
