Para a reabilitação do Club Setubalense : programa museológico, programa museográfico e cultural

Summary:The Club Setubalense created in 1855 was intended initially to the bourgeoisie, establishing itself as a privileged space of elites, where it was promoted political, ideological and cultural debate. Over the decades, able to adapt his speech to new ideologies, new trends and needs. The dissertation work not only investigates all its historic and patrimonial process, since its inception, as proposed rehabilitation of its space and the capture of audiences. Settle comparisons with existing clubs at the time. Refers to the importance of architectural preservation of the building, as a patrimonial city value. It is located in this club, in the culture of the city to discuss the cultural practices and their relationship with the public, while it deals with the concepts of the theory of museology. Develops a survey of public, through which we analyze the question of identity and its representations, reflecting the values and emotions of the collective imagination. In the end we intend to develop a museological program and museographic project, which will include not only the recovery of the building where it is installed the club, but also the creation of an exhibition space, using the necessary adjustment of the rooms, to the creation of a permanent exhibition about their own history
