Digital Natives and Their Practices in Social Networks: Analysis of the Collaborative Coverage "Special Covid-19"
| Resumo: | The emergence and popularization of social media, considered the new gatekeepers in people's access to information, led to a change in the public's relationship with the news. These digital intermediaries have become crucial players in the media ecosystem, leading news outlets to use these platforms in their work routines. Within this environment of social media, the Brazilian digital native news media Revista AzMina, Gênero e Número, Énois and data_labe joined in the creation of Covid-19 Special, to carry out joint coverage of the pandemic. From the study of this empirical object, this article seeks to understand the impact, in terms of visibility, of the use of social media by digital natives in the context of a collaborative project. |
