Jean Echenoz à l’épreuve du temps

Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:As the illustration of the « time experience » that is the base of the narrative, several fictions of Jean Echenoz manifest the romantic component of the Barthes’s « degradation » as the reason for the social decay between foil and fantasy, which exemplifies contemporary society. The evolution of the novel frame by Echenoz as a whole provides a counterpoint to the narrative asceticism, accompanied by a marked change in terms of enunciation in the use of tenses. The tightening comes from a company conspiracy of the effect of time, « degradation » being reinterpreted as a dépouillement towards the essential.
