Panorâmica Histórica e Cultural da Construção Europeia - até 1945
| Resumo: | The present work discusses the problem of the History of European construction, linking both mythological roots of this theme with the historical ones, until the end of Second World War. We will also investigate the efforts made across successive centuries in order to accomplish the restoration of the Roman Empire and, at a very particular way, the restoration of a certain administrative centrality. We will seek to study some of the most important proposals regarding the continental (re-)unification at political and military levels, and the central role in all this process of innumerable thinkers. O presente trabalho incide sobre a problemática da história da construção europeia, cruzando as raízes mitológicas da questão com as históricas, até ao final da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Debruçar-nos-emos igualmente acerca dos esforços empreendidos, ao longo de séculos sucessivos, no sentido da restauração do Império Romano e, de modo muito particular, de uma centralidade administrativa. Procuraremos abordar algumas das mais significativas propostas de (re-)unificação continental, tanto no plano político, como militar, bem como o papel central em todo este processo de inúmeros pensadores. |
