Critical Thinking in Geography Teaching: Dialectical construction from a philosophical exercise
| Resumo: | For Geography, critical thinking is a fundamental pillar in the construction of spatial thinking. The 2016 International Charter for Geographic Education is one of the guiding documents that translates this idea adapted to the school context. The objective of this study is to help to understand and systematize the characteristics and steps inherent to the construction of critical thinking, in a community, as well as to present a proposal for a practical exercise to be applied in Geography classes. For this, the assumptions "Philosophy with Children and Young People" (P4C). It will be used, as well as the Community of Inquiry (CI) methodology. In the first part there will be theoretical reflection, in a dialectical logic between Philosophy and Geography; in the second part, a proposal for a practical exercise will be presented. |
