Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This paper examines social reproduction strategies of Mozambican families who have one or more membersin entrepreneurship activities and simultaneously one or more members with a university degree. By examining the interrelations between these different variables and units of analysis (entrepreneurs, individuals with a universitydegree and families) this paper will reflect on the dynamic processes through which families deploy their social reproduction strategies. The focus will be on factors that, on a family level, conditioned individual training and professional options and how the latter originated changes in family relationsand their structures. The author concludes her argument focusing on the complexity and non-linearaspectsof cultural and social changes in Mozambican families and how these characteristics conditionprofessional choices and entrepreneurship activities at an individual level.
