Art as a support for creativity in contemporary fashion design

Resumo:This research work refers to the theme of art as creative support, in the area of contemporary fashion design, whose goal was to reference some events in the history of fashion influenced and inspired by art, through studies carried out in which art reflects the moment, and the artist uses and builds its own history. Fashion represents the present time and the portrait of various cultures, while art shows the message of fashion through the decoding of design and colours in a creative and innovative way, generating feelings and emotions in the observer. In the current era the consumer values products with exponentially aesthetic, symbolic and psychological values that consequently provide the privilege of the aesthetic experience, considering the designer a recognized creator, with new experiences and ideas that meet the satisfaction of the consumer for which they were created.
