Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The health crisis raised by the covid-19 pandemic has profoundly shaken all dimensions of contemporary worldview. Among the particularities of the "new normal" the mandatory use of protective masks stands out. In a scenario - once chimerical - in which millions of citizens take to the streets every day with a mask over their face, it is urgent to think about the management of the resulting avalanche of plastic waste. Disposable masks, in particular, are one of our next big challenges. Their proper management is conditio sine qua non of the holistic recovery needed for a sustained future.
