Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This paper presents the excavation of a mensa tomb identified on the slope of a dune in the archaeological site of Troia and its results. The archaeological works revealed an intact funerary case, with the skeleton of a woman, with an incomplete opus signinum covering with an inlaid marble plaque, under the vestiges of a later occupation. The study of the contexts that surrounded the tomb suggests a dating in the second half of the 4th century. The use of brand new and homogeneous bricks, the great size of the covering and its relative isolation suggest a tomb, if not privileged, at least belonging to someone with some importance in the community.
