La imagen en pugna con la palabra
| Resumo: | Either in a book with pictures or in an album, the relationship between word and image has proven to be troublesome: both codes should integrate, so that the result is a single literary composition, with a variety of meanings, even if it is aimed at young readers, where one has to deal with their lack of skills when facing any support resource system. In fact, the relationship between both languages, the iconic and the linguistic, is a concurrent or interdependent one. In several situations the image tends to prevail over words, contributing to some complexity of the literary composition, its artistic side. Sometimes, also, image and word contradict themselves, forcing young and adult readers to reconstruct the meaning of the literary composition. |
