Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:A 4-year-old male neutered Turkish Angora cat was presented for a second opinion of a suspicious feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) without evident clinical signs. After few months with non-specific clinical signs, an abdominal ultrasonography revealed mesenteric ileo-caecal lymph adenomegaly and liver masses. Histopathology of ileo-caecal lymph nodes and liver biopsies was suggestive of FIP. The animal was treated with GS- 441524.After the 12 weeks of GS-441524 administration, there was a resolution of the clinical signs and a normalization of all the altered blood analysis. This report describes a successful treatment with GS-441524 in a cat with the dry form of FIP.
