Art contribution to the initial training of Chemistry teachers
| Resumo: | This work analyses the contribution of art to the initial formation of chemistry teachers, based in a development analysis of an artistic performance developed in the PIBID’s scope (Scholarship Institutional Program of Teaching Iniciation) in a brazilian public federal university and presented in a thematic soiree involving science and art. The beggining of the perfomance process was the poem “Lesson about water”, by António Gedeão. The investigation developed is of qualitative nature based in theorycal and methodologycal assumptions of participant research. The research data is composed from a focal group which counted on seven chemistry undergraduate students, two researchers (one of which also chemistry undergraduate student) and the choreographer. From the words of these subjects, we evidenced contributions to the teacher’s initial formation, prioritizing tecnical, scientific, socio-cultural, affective, axiological, cognitive, motor and emotional aspects. The artistic performance was set as a valious formative strategy, guided by non-formal education principles, in the STS-art aprroach, prototing learning and producing chemistry teachingr initial formation knowledge. |
