Knowledge Management and Development of Transversal Skills

Summary:The objective was to analyze the relationship between knowledge management and the development of transversal skills at the Federal Institute of Pará (IFPA). With a positivist approach, the quantitative research used a sample of 246 administrative and teaching staff at the institution. The results, based on a SurveyMonkey questionnaire, suggest that knowledge management has a positive impact on the development of transversal skills. Therefore, the importance of effective application of knowledge and organizational support is highlighted. Investing in people management policies that promote the application and sharing of knowledge can contribute to the development of skills aligned with the institution’s objectives, while valuing employees.
