Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Abstract The present study, developed in the year 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic in Portugal, aimed to make the Arts Space of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (Espaço Artes do IPL) known to the community of the School of Education (ESELx), through a project in Artistic and Cultural Mediation (MAC) in the digital plan and to remove the symbolic distance that existed between them. The intervention proposal had as a starting point the exhibition of Scientific Drawing and Illustration of the students of the Degree in Visual Arts and Technology of ESELx, which sought to awaken in the participants new ways of relating with the exhibited works through processes of interpretative composition based on the photographic language. The result of this activity was the creation of the virtual gallery Map of Sights (Mapa de Olhares). The project reinforced that it is possible for the mediator to adapt to unpredictability through different models of communication and participation. On the other hand, the various stimuli launched in the activities gave rise to dynamic compositions and motivated the inter-relationship of the groups. The need to build a network of local partners to facilitate the access of groups for whom creative activities and social connection are preconditions for cultural involvement was also identified. Finally, some of the contradictions in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) in the MAC projects were discussed. Keywords: Project in artistic and cultural mediation, cultural engagement, creative processes, Information and Communication Technologies.
