GeomCasting: uma experiência no ensino secundário
| Resumo: | Neste artigo vamos apresentar uma experiência desenvolvida numa turma do 11ºano de escolaridade (ano terminal) na disciplina de Geometria Descritiva A. Num contexto em que o insucesso é elevado no exame nacional e também na frequência da mesma, os principais objectivos que motivaram a realização desta experiência pedagógica, o GeomCasting, foram, por um lado, aumentar o interesse e a motivação dos alunos, assim como a eficácia das aprendizagens e por outro preparar para o exame nacional. O projecto consistiu no desenvolvimento de aplicações multimédia baseadas no conceito de podcast/vodcast/screencast, o GeomCast. Estas aplicações foram criadas pela docente e pelos alunos (em grupo), cujo objectivo foi permitir que os alunos revejam os conteúdos curriculares da disciplina em qualquer lugar ou hora, a partir da Internet, dos ipods ou telemóveis, sempre que necessitem refrescar a memória, uma vez que estas aplicações estão disponíveis no blog da turma. In this article we present an experiment carried out in an 11th grade class (terminal year) in the subject Descriptive Geometry A. In a context where the failure is high in national testing and also in its frequency, the main objectives that motivated the implementation of this educational experiment, the GeomCasting, were twofold. Firstly it was to increase the interest and motivation of students and the effectiveness of learning and secondly the preparation for the national test. This project was developed using multimedia applications based on the concept of podcast / vodcast / screencast, the GeomCast. These applications were created by the teacher and students (in a group), whose objective was to enable students to revise the subjects’ syllabus in any place or time from the Internet, via ipods or mobile phones, whenever their memory needs to be refreshed, once these applications are available on the class blog |
