A pratical approach launching an app and consequent business potential assessment
| Resumo: | Mobile applications were first “born" in 2008. During the last eight years its exponential rise have already moulded the way most people live. Nowadays, the range of applications is so enormously diverse that people may live their usual lives without anything else than packages of software installed on the smartphone and an internet connection. Therefore, it is of most interest to approach this emerging market so that potential opportunities may be spotted and consequently harnessed. This document is intended to reflect the tap on an eventual gap on the market from an app created to foster the way people socially engage with football. Throughout the paper, the author establishes a parallel between the existing literature, the differentiated outputs obtained from the launch of the minimum viable product and the arising conclusions that may impact positively a future version of the referred mobile application. The ultimate goal is to assess the potentiality and sustainability of Kiss my Score as a business as well as humbly attempt to contribute academically for the documentation of one of the most impactful technological evolutions. In brief, this paper is for the doers, for the non-settlers, for the believers and at most for the ones who trust their gut but on top of all trust numbers, after all we are nothing beyond it, prime numbers each one of us. |
