The relationship between training and satisfaction: the case of personal and collective protection equipment

Summary:The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of HRM practices of training in the use and satisfaction of protective equipment. Exposed to physical and psychological risks and daily wear and tear, the need arises to value OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) to protect workers and make them more prepared and protected for the risks inherent to the wear and tear of the profession. The methodology used in this study was quantitative and was based on 97 questionnaires to professionals in the area. The study concludes that HRM practices such as training is a strategic factor for organizational satisfaction, with the participation of workers in the choice of protective equipment being one of the factors for creating the same satisfaction. It can also be concluded that training is a critical pillar in the success of the company, having a direct and positive impact on job satisfaction.
