La seguridad social complementaria en Portugal

Resumo:This work analyses the four institutions taking part of the Portuguese complementary social security. The first one is the so-called complementary schemes of collective initiative, which is the Portuguese legal term denoting the private pensions funds and plans. The second one is the so-called capitalization public scheme, which is a specific species of such a pensions funds and plans. The third one is the so-called voluntary social insurance scheme, stipulated by a potential beneficiary with the Portuguese social security Administration. And the final one, the social security improvements created by collective bargaining agreement.
