Experiences and perceptions of women towards inequalities in the labour market of the Republic of Croatia
| Resumo: | With women entering the labour force in the past century, the labour market has undergone significant changes. This thesis aims to present various sociological approaches to the theme of gender inequality in the labour market and related topics, foreign and Croatian. This work analyses the perceptions and experiences of women toward inequalities in the labour market of the Republic of Croatia. By means of a content analysis of 20 interviews, four different dimensions were chosen: the glass ceiling and pay gap, gender and gender inequality, discrimination and segregation of women, prejudice and sexual harassment. Those dimensions are systematically clarified, and linked with the theoretical framework. |
