| Resumo: | A Compliance Program can be implemented in all types of companies. For that, it must be adapted each company’s reality. Hence, when it comes to startups, it's no different. This business model has its peculiarities, what must be considered by the Compliance professional in all phases of the program’s implementation. Therefore, it is necessary to study each company, as well as the structuring of a program that is susceptible to the constant and sudden changes that can occur in a startup environment. It is also essential that the Compliance professional understands the challenges that this business model presents, such as the scarce financial and personnel resources, the culture of risk acceptance and the search for changes that aim at the company’s constant innovation and scalability. Only then will it be possible to implement an effective Compliance program, with benefits that will be perceived from the outset, with increasing investment chances, for example. |
