Aglepta de Arne Mellnäs. A nova vocalidade, a indeterminação e a notação gráfica como meios para o alargamento das competências vocais e interpretativas do coro infantil
| Resumo: | The children's choir piece Aglepta, written in 1969 by the Swedish composer Arne Mellnäs, presents a set of characteristics that associates the piece with the avant-garde of the 1960s. Among these characteristics are: the variety of vocal resources, principles of indeterminacy and graphic notation. Despite being a pioneering composition in the children's choral repertoire it remains rarely performed and little known. This article not only presents a set of considerations on new vocality, indeterminacy and graphic notation but also a musical analysis of Aglepta which focuses on the following elements: literary text, vocal capabilities, sound events, formal structure and musical notation. Therefore, we present the most important syntactic principles of Aglepta and demonstrate that the interpretation of the piece contributes to extending the vocal and interpretive skills of the children's choir. |
