La Poétique de Jean-Charles Chapuzet: entre roman œnotouristique et polar viticole
| Resumo: | This paper offers a reading focused on the importance of wine and the rural world in two novels by the historian, journalist and contemporary French writer, Jean-Charles Chapuzet: Verticale (2009) and À l'Aveugle (2013). Indeed, these two novels respectively provide an approach to fiction that could be called "wine tourism", as well as a thriller that investigates wine merchants and winegrowers. In doing so, these two texts - which call for, among other things, an ecocritic reading - set the scene, and invoke an imagination, which exalt wine as a mythical and fused element of the terroir. |
