Livio Vacchini e a Casa Koerfer. Um projecto em Santa Clara-a-Velha
| Resumo: | The present dissertation is the result of a study started during my erasmus in Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, about the project of Koerfer House, one of the last pieces of Livio Vacchini's work. An architect that had a critical role not only for the Ticinesi architecture but for all the Contemporary Architecture as well. The knowledge acquired about this house, the study of the author's methodology, main themes, purposes and concerns, raised a final exercise. Through a praxis exercise, now in Odemira, we propose to use the experience that derives from the case of study, so that the new decisions also contribute to the deepening of the knowledge of one of the most important Swiss architects. Even though the published material about the author is little, much of it has not been re-edited or was lost over the years in single articles in the main journals of the beginning of the XX century, the collected information is in part taken from a couple of monographs written at the beginning of his career, information provided by 'Studio di Architettura Vacchini' and also from the Archivio del Moderno de Mendrisio. |
