Automatização e otimização do processo de análise e apresentação de informação
| Resumo: | Nowadays, the world is advancing at a speed that transforms time into a fundamental asset. Every second that passes, millions of pieces of data are generated which, if not interpreted correctly, can lead to wrong decisions and unpleasant consequences. Thus, the automation and optimisation of information allows more information to be processed more quickly, enabling informed decisions to be made in less time. With the evolution of Business Intelligence tools, it is essential for a large organisation to invest in this type of solution in order to remain competitive in the market. In this project, EFACEC proposed a set of tools and improvements to address the automation and optimisation of information management and visualisation processes. Thus, the work carried out can be divided into two parts: the intervention in the Timesheets dashboard and the creation of the Unified Performance Metrics dashboard. The first consists of modifying a pre-existing solution and the second is a new solution that integrates Extract, Transform, Load processes with the presentation of important metrics in real time through Power BI. The implementation of both solutions involved modifying and developing new Python scripts, designing Structured Query Language commands, and creating dashboards in Power BI. The developed solution was successfully tested and adopted by the company, which considers the replacement of the previous manual, slow and inefficient processes with real-time updated metrics dashboards to be very advantageous. |
