O impacto da descarbonização nas empresas de transportes: estudo de caso da empresa DPD
| Resumo: | The recognition of climate change on the planet led to the need to investigate the main causes, consequences, challenges and solutions for decarbonization. The transport sector, one of the two biggest motivators for global warming, urgently needs interventions for the intended purpose, carbon neutrality. In order to identify these factors, a case study of a leading company in the freight transport sector was presented, which stood out for projects and solutions aligned with sustainability. In this sense, the various initiatives implemented that significantly reduced carbon emissions, such as the acquisition of electric vehicles, air quality programs, among others, promoted the optimization of the resources used and, consequently, the reduction of costs and a competitive advantage over the competitors. |
