Dialogical analysis of discourse: notes from/for research in Brazil

Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Different approaches to the study of discourse have been consolidated in the fields of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. Among several, a responsive approach to the dialogical perspective of Bakhtin’s writings and the Circle has mobilized several studies, especially in Brazil, under the name of Dialogical Analysis of Discourse (DDA). Under this scenario, the objective of this article is to map research and restate some of the fundamental questions about DDA in the field of  Brazilian  discursive  studies. To do so, we mapped studies in Brazilian  institutional  databases  and resumed foundational considerations from the writings of M. Bakhtin and the Circle and from contemporary  scholars  who  have  responded  to  these  writings  with  investigations  associated  with the DDA. We believe in the relevance of the discussion since it contributes to a mapping of research in the field, and, therefore,  contributes to the  consolidation  of  DDA  as  a  field  of  study  compared  to other approaches to studies in the discursive field. In addition, the present research collaborates to open space for discussions on DDA in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities, which seek, among other issues, reflections on the subject, society, and languages.
