Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Nowadays, the World Health Organization (WHO) has two reference systems, the tenth revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) and the International Classification of Functioning, Disabilities and Health (CIF), which plays a central role in the conceptualization of impairment and disability. More recently, WHO has promoted the development of version of the ICF for children and youth (ICF-CY) for universal use in the areas of health, education and rehabilitation. In the Portuguese context, as part of the reorganization of Special Education, the Ministry of Education stipulates that the evaluation is done by reference to the ICF-CY and the results should also serve as a basis for the development of individual educational program.
