Colaborative research as a stratagy of professional development of teachers

Resumo:This article reports a study conducted with three Portuguese primary school teachers who participated for two years, along with a professor in a collaborative research project focused on the analysis of their communicative practices in mathematics. The study shows that teachers develop professionally, manifest developments in their forms of collaboration in the group from providing aid and assistance to joint work, and in parallel deepen their teaching knowledge and professional practices.
