Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:In honour of the life and work of Ana Lucía Frega (1935–2025), this publication is a reissue of the first article she published in the APEM Bulletin, No. 84, in 1995*. Ana Lucía Frega was a friend of APEM and is an essential reference in the academic and professional field of music education, both in Argentina, her country, and in the rest of the world. She chaired the International Society for Music Education (ISME) between 1994 and 2000. She served a full term as president from 1996 to 1998, one of the first to create the regional conferences of this international society. In 1993, she visited Portugal for the first time to attend APEM's Iberian Seminar on Music Education and present a research paper at the invitation of Graziela Cintra Gomes. This was followed by many exchanges that led her, as part of APEM's 25th anniversary celebrations in 1997, to hold seminars in Lisbon, Porto and Faro. In the APEM Bulletin/Magazine archive, available to members on the APEM website, other articles by Ana Lucía Frega remain relevant today, reflecting the lightness and vision of her spirit and professional attitude. The APEM library has nine entries of works authored or co-authored by Ana Lucía Frega, notably her pioneering and seminal work, Metodología comparada de la educación musical(Comparative Methodology of Music Education), published in 1997.
