Severe hiperstimulation ovarian syndrome with superimposed acute pancreatitis : a case report
| Resumo: | Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome is an important complication of controlled ovarian stimulation, mainly associated with assisted reproductive techniques. It has a wide severity spectrum. Acute pancreatitis in pregnancy is a rare event. We report a case of a pregnant woman with acute pacreatitis superimposed to a severe ovarian hyperstimulation induced by assisted reproductive techniques. |
