Une cité de saints. La ville de Lisbonne comme lieu de sacralisation de la guerre, XIIe-XVe siècles
| Resumo: | From the capture of the city in 1147 to the seizure of Arzila in 1471, and even beyond, Lisbon served the interests of the Portuguese royalty in terms of the deployment of a set of symbols related to legitimation and projection of the «Reconquista», then of the Crusade. This work aims to characterize, in diachrony, the main bases of this process, as to highlight the strong link between Lisbon, the Portuguese royalty and the sacralization of war during the medieval period. |
