| Resumo: | Terrain surveys play an important role in the field of telecommunications. In order to expand a fiber optics network, it is fundamental to have knowledge of the area being considered for expansion, especially knowledge about existing structures, and possible limitations of that area. A terrain survey provides a way to collect this information, which can then be examined and acted upon. Survey results can often have issues depending on what tools and methods were used for the collection of data. The main goal of this work is to develop a tool capable of efficiently, and correctly collecting georeferenced data, and outputing that data in a way that is usable in the following stages of expansion of the fiber optics network. |
