Synthetic gypsum-based plaster for production of multiple optical glass lenses
| Resumo: | To improve the efficiency of lens blocking for grinding and polishing, plaster use was studied in the work herein reported.The dimensional stability, low thermal expansion, shapability, and cost-effectiveness of plaster can contribute to the production of high-quality optical lenses. These results foster advancements in optical manufacturing, enhancing the simultaneous processing of multiple lenses or prisms. |
