Polymer Melt Flow Through Channels With Vibrating Walls
| Resumo: | An experimental setup for the application of ultrasonic vibrations during polymer melt flow is described. The flow conditions and the channel geometry can be varied. Preliminary results seam to evidence that an increase in processability, probably due to viscous dissipation, is obtained. |
