Usos de portanto no falar bracarense
| Resumo: | This paper is part of a wider investigation on the discursive markers (DM) portanto, pronto and tipo in Braga’s speech. The data consists of 74 interviews with a total of 74 hours of audio recording, carried out under the scientific project Sociolinguistic Profile of Braga’s Speech Variety, with the reference FCT PTDC/CLE-LIN/112939/2009. It is a stratified sample of oral verbal interactions, according to the sociolinguistic methodology. Using quantitative methods (descriptive statistics), we aim at analyzing the occurrences of portanto of Braga’s speech and its relation to the characteristics of this DM already described by other authors. |
