Scenarios for the future of nature tourism in Portugal – time horizon: 10 years on the green grid

Resumo:This project investigates the future of nature tourism in Portugal over the next decade, employing a deductive approach rooted in the Intuitive Logics School to create scenarios. Focused on strategic implications, it aims to benefit Biovilla, a nature tourism provider in Portugal. Through diverse potential futures, this study unveils implications specific to Biovilla and comprehensive strategic recommendations. Employing SWOT analysis, the client's positioning within each scenario is assessed, co-drafted during a collaborative session with the client. Complemented by a survey and an expert interview, which underscore the importance for Biovilla to dynamically adapt for sustained competitiveness and future prosperity.
