Servitization in Germany's healthcare industry: how are macro factors contributing to its validity

Resumo:With the changing environment in the German healthcare sector, new business models such as Servitization emerged to address the customer needs in a more developed way than current models. While Servitization has many benefits, it can only work in an environment where macro factors support its economic validity. The market is dominated by cost pressure and a lack of digital infrastructure. This study analyzes how the most crucial pain points that slow down Servitization are currently developing and addresses the future outlook.
