Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This study examines the adoption determinants of facial recognition technology in mobile banking among young adults, employing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. Analyzing responses from 113 participants through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research identifies performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and data privacy concerns as significant predictors of adoption intentions. Openness to experience was not a significant mediator. Findings emphasize the importance of addressing privacy and usability to enhance adoption. This study contributes to the biometric security literature by integrating privacy concerns into the UTAUT model and offering insights for technology providers.
