Subscrição de seguros de acidentes pessoais não obrigatórios: uma análise ao perfil do mercado potencial: disrupção pretendida para que seja possível o aumento da quota de mercado do ramo não - vida
| Resumo: | The insurance sector is known as a very traditional sector and people's perception about insurance is still low, mostly limited to the subscription of mandatory insurance. This sector has a probably unique characteristic: it sells the same product since its creation. This can lead to the conclusion that it is a sector that does not advance or that does not change, which is not compatible with an era marked by the constant transformation of the economy. However, it is clear that there is an effort on the part of the insurance market to evolve towards solutions more suited to the needs that arise and in search of new market niches, often using digital resources and greater awareness among the population, enabling development of new business. These transformations have greater freedom when it comes to non-mandatory insurance. Among these, Personal Accident insurance starts to stand out, having increased its market share but still maintaining a very small presence in the market. In this sense, the objective of this study will be to evaluate the literacy applied to non-mandatory personal accident insurance and to identify the potential underwriter of these insurances and what are the challenges that new generations of underwriters can bring to the branch. In order to obtain information that would help answer the objective of this study, a questionnaire was carried out aimed at the product of Personal Accidents of a non-mandatory nature in order to draw a profile, identifying, in addition to personal factors, financial habits, respective literacy applied to the sector and reasons for demand and supply of insurance. In this way, it was possible to identify 3 personas allied to different generations, who, according to their evolution and that of society, show different characteristics and ideas with regard to the insurance sector and in particular non-mandatory personal accident insurance. |
